Plantar Fascitis

Exercise Dosage

If you are currently exercising, what do you base your number of reps on?  What about your rest time between sets?  As a physical therapist I use the Holten curve to choose the desired number of reps.  If you want to know about rest time, come to the FORUM…

Groin Pain

ETPS is at it again…
Had a pt this week with groin pain following a THA.  No other complaints, and appears very strong and has good muscle length.  Using some ETPS acupuncture points her pain was a 0/10 with walking (previous 6/10), and about a 2-3/10 with stairs.  Pretty cool!

Subscapularis

With my patients who are post -op shoulder surgery…I am seeing great sucess with myofascial release techniques of the subscapularis muscle to aid in external rotation range of motion.
